Thrift Store Thursday • Super Lucky Cat & Aqua Blue

Thrift Store Thursday

I was very lucky this week I found all these great items for less than $11.

The first is an apron print style blouse that caught my eye. I initially was going to use it as a blouse but it doesn't fit me as well as I hoped for. Right now I am debating between altering it to fit me better as a blouse or transforming it into a pretty springtime apron. The best part is that when I came home to try to find out about the company,Super Lucky Cat. The clothes are made of recycled vintage clothing, so each piece is one of a kind. You can find their items at boutique clothing stores and occasionally at Urban Outfitters.

I also found a NEW roll of aqua wrapping paper, you can never have too much wrapping paper, and I love the color.

My husband had to have the Polaroid 600, honestly I was secretly wanting it too, so I was glad it was his suggestion :D.

I spotted the copy of Julie and Julia. I am excited to start reading this book, so that I can see the movie that is being released this year. "The film follows Powell, a government employee who decides to cook her way through legendary cook Julia Child's classic cookbook, "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" in one year's time out of her small Queens kitchen. Powell blogs her daily experiences, gaining a loyal following along the way."

Lastly but not least, two glass milk/juice carafes that I knew immediately I had to have to carry out another idea I have been planning....The bottles are marked with the logo "Since 1852". I am not sure where they came from and haven't had much luck searching online either, so if you know please fill me in.
